AGV AX-8 EVO Flagstars Motorcycle Helmet White/Red

DESIGN

The design is pure AGV style with an evident family feeling in the front air vents and the rear extractors that recall both those in the on-road and MT-X versions. The helmet differs significantly from others in the market today thanks to the chin guard with immediate aesthetic impact characterized by its large steel grille that protects the highly assertive front air vent that makes the AX-8 instantly recognizable especially during races regardless of the helmet's graphics or track conditions.

TECHNICAL UPGRADES

New internal padding with increased thickness for improved comfort and greater stability in professional use.

New shape of the outer shell in the chin area which, combined with a wider and softer base edge compared to the previous model, reduces interference with any back protector used and decreases risks of impact traumas, thanks to its shock-absorber function.

SHELL

The AX-8 is available in 3 outer shell sizes with sizes that run from XXS to XXXL. The outer shell vaunts SSL layering made in Carbon, Kevlar and fiberglass in order to keep weight low while ensuring the maximum safety.

VENTILATION

The integrated IVS ventilation system consists of channels formed directly in the outer shell that ensure more efficacious airflow inside the shell and better aerodynamic performance. The front air events, the vents on the visor edge and on the chin guard permit constant flow of fresh air inside the helmet. The rear extractors carry away all the moist warm air from inside the helmet through the channels in the EPS.

INTERNAL PADDING

    Our inclusive set includes the LD12-PRO premium electric designed with a capacity up to 12,000 pounds. It features a 12 volt DC motor with a true power rating of 6.0 horsepower, 4,300 watts. A three-stage planetary gear system is included with gear reduction ratio of 265:1 for effective torque and line speed. A freespooling clutch allows freespooling when a lever is disengaged, and when engaged the winch drum is geared to the motor. Automatic breaking holds the load when the motor power is not applied. It is pre-wound using 87' of 3/8" aircraft-quality wire rope on a drum measuring 2-1/2" in diameter and 8-13/16" long. The roller fairlead uses wave-washers and c-clips for added security in holding the rollers in place. A wired remote with 12' cord terminating in a 3-pin plug is included, as well as a wireless controller with 75' range. Winch measures 21" x 6-3/8" x 9-7/8" and weighs 90 pounds. Included in the kit is a snatch block that can increase pulling power or can be used for indirect pulls with the block as an anchor point. It is made of 1/4" thick high tensile strength steel with an epoxy grade finish. A premium strap made of industrial-grade polyester is included, too. It does not damage or cut into trees like chain or wire rope. It measures 3" wide and 10' long with a pulling strength of 24,000 pounds. A quick connector kit is also included that makes disconnecting power simple and easy. Just insert the wires into the terminal pins, crimp or solder, and insert the pins into the connector housing and they lock in place. A winch cover made of water-resistant nylon protects the winch from the elements and features an elastic band around the edges for a secure fit.

    Covercraft Custom Fit Car Cover for Oldsmobile 98 - WeatherShield HP Fabric (Taupe) . WeatherShield HP is manufactured with solution-dye fibers which makes the fabric more fade resistant. Solution-dye isn't really a dye process, the color pigments are mixed into the compound that is extruded as thread. This puts the color all the way through each fiber making it more fade resistant and saves 1,000 gallons of water for every 1,000 yards of fabric produced since they don't surface-dye the fabric. To construct this fabric, pre-finishing chemistries are applied to the solution-dye polyester fabric to prep it for the encapsulation process. Nextec proprietary equipment then applies a viscous patented mixture of silicon-based polymers onto the fabric. Heat and pressure is applied to the polymers, working them inside the fabric and wrapping the individual fade resistant fibers. All but the smallest spaces are filled and the micro holes that remain allow the fabric to breathe so any moisture or heat under the cover can easily escape. Specially designed ovens cure the polymers to a solid state and the fabric is ready to make into covers. No microfibers, no laminates, and no surface coating. "EPIC" by Nextec's encapsulation process delivers all-weather protection, compact packability, easy care, and a soft-to-paint touch without sacrificing breathability. WeatherShield is not waterproof, but if kept clean it will shed most water and helps prevent dust, dirt, bird droppings and tree sap from reaching the vehicle surface. The breathable properties of the fabric assure that any heat, moisture or condensation under the cover can easily escape. This cover is backed by a four-year warranty against fabric flaws and workmanship.
